Amanda Shut down as of April 18th 2016
Dear customers, partners and friends
Almost four years ago Amanda went live and the first year was awarded by many achievements, positive feedback and high popularity. Our aim was to offer a suitable and complete software that satisfied all commercial needs on a sector independent basis for self-employed people and very small business.
Since that time, the software market for small business entities and self-employed got stronger and Amanda got less competitive especially considering the announcements and strategic partnerships PostFinance made available on this continuously growing market. New available products offering more and more business administration functions made Amanda lose market share. As a result of this:
Amanda will go offline as per April 18th, 2016.
Making the decision to switch Amanda off was difficult but necessary considering Amanda’s current position and offering. At this point, the Amanda team would like to thank all customers and partners for their loyalty, confidence, and for a great collaboration. Thank you!
We will keep Amanda running until April 18th 2016 in order to ensure a smooth transition and to grant all customers the ability to finish closing the financial year 2015 as well as the 1st Quarter 2016. Please make sure you export all needed data into another system by using the transfer tools you have available at Amanda.
We are conscious that our customers need a little time to coordinate their data transfers so we offer the remaining Amanda service for all active customers at no charge.
What this means to Amanda customers:

- Please use the available tools for your data export
- Our Customer Support remains available until April 18th, 2016. You can reach us by email at email@example.com during regular office hours.
